Likely originally used as a dough, grain or serving bowl. Hand-shaped from a single piece of timber with an elongated oval form and beautifully uneven surface throughout. The wear, tool marks and colour variation give it a particularly good sculptural quality.

A strong decorative piece for a kitchen table, coffee table or shelf. Particularly good styled with citrus, walnuts or garlic.
